Additional Beauty Tips for the Fall Season:

• Be Natural. Use light and natural colored foundation and blush. A natural face is the quintessential fall look.
• Nail the Half Moon. Using the tip of the polish brush from your half-moon shade, pat three small dots in the shape of a triangle where your half moon would be (so two dots close to the skin, then the top peak further down the nail). Then fill in — simple!
• Do the Twist. Brush hair straight down, then clip your strands into segments to make your workload smaller. Then, start twisting sections vertically. Good morning, beauts. It’s no secret: Long, lengthy, dark eyelashes that frame and define your eyes, are one of your most important beauty assets. This beauty truth explains why so many of us rely on an extra coat of mascara before we head out the door. It’s that finishing touch that is essential for an extra dose of confidence. In fact, if a person seeks out eye contact when talking, he or she is judged to be more believable, confident and competent — an extra incentive to keep those lashes looking their best.

Ready, Set, Curl!

“Curling is a crucial step for longer-looking lashes, because it makes them more visible and opens up your eyes. As always, make sure your lashes are clean before you start. Wipe them gently with an oil-based makeup remover. Then, using an eyelash curler, get as close as you can to your eyelid and press the curler firmly.”

Less Is More

“If necessary, rub excess mascara off the brush with a clean towel before application. Avoid applying too much too quickly — this can create heavy clumps that are a no-no for lengthy lashes. I would recommend using a specialized product such as Avon’s SuperExtend Mascara. The unique formula and spikey bristles allow for maximum lash coverage.”

Get The Right Balance

“When all is said and done, lashes should be lighter at the tips so that they won’t get weighed down and straighten out. To accomplish this, position the brush at the base of the lash so the bristles grip your lengthy lookers evenly. Then, push up lightly against the lashes, wiggling the brush slightly outward (but not all the way to the tips of the lashes). Extend the drama by drawing out some length with a few smooth strokes starting from the base, out to the tip.”

Take Creative Control

“You have more creative freedom with your mascara than you might think. You can create different looks by sweeping the mascara in different directions. Sweep upwards for an open-eyed, doll-like look or brush outwards at an angle for a more elongated, classically feminine look.”

Bottoms Up

“Don’t forget the bottom lashes! I suggest doing them after the top lashes when there’s a minimal amount of mascara on the brush. With a few light strokes downward, darken your lower lashes a to add a bit of definition for larger looking eyes.”

This FOTD features some of my absolute favorite AVON products. The Big & Daring Volume Mascara is my essential mascara. I love how it brings my lashes to life and takes them from dull to daring! What I love from this look are many things! First off, the UC Indulgence Lip Color line is fabulous. It is a lightweight gel formula but it delivers full coverage color. Feels great on -- I almost forget that i'm wearing lipstick. That is how much of a lightweight/natural feel it has. I have to be honest, I have not yet tried the CC Cream BUT I am a huge fan of the Ideal Flawless BB Cream!! I love the idea of the Mega Effects Mascara Wonderbrush, but thanks to my poor eyesight and the fact that I have to get nose close to my mirror when applying makeup {this girl wears glasses!} I have had a difficult time applying. So, sadly I cannot use this product. My cousin has used this though and loves it! She has no issue with application -- lucky girl! I know tons of ladies who swear by this product, so it does come highly recommended.

So, what do we think all? I personally LOVE this look. Its Summer, you should be having some serious fun with your makeup looks and the bold blue really brightens the eyes! I have the Glow Teal eyeshadow quad and the colors are vibrant and very easy to apply. The numbered color slots make it easy to know where and when to place which shade {on the back there is a pictured how-to which again, is great for those wanting a guide} Don't be afraid though to think outside the box and try different looks.

One of my favorite mascaras is featured in this FOTD - Big & Daring. I use the Blackest Black shade and I tell you what, prior to this find I had not liked to wear mascara at all. Any other brands I had tried left me dissatisfied with clumped and lackluster lashes. Not this one! It is now available in Waterproof, if that is your thing. You probably know Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery from ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars Series. {Happens to be my favorite show.. Love the drama!} If you are a mark. lover you may have noticed mark.
