My Avon Beauty Faves List | Post One

Hey, loves! I’ve decided to take on a new set of posts with each one featuring a few products from Avon that i’m currently obsessing over. Over the next week or so, i’ll put up a new post and share all of the reasons that I love each product. I’ll also be listing current prices and special offers where applicable. I’m not certain on how many parts to this new line of postings there will be, but let’s start off with Post One and go from there!

Let’s begin with the first product that kicks off my morning beauty routine, Anew Vitale Gel Cleanser. This product is a must-have for me, I don’t think i’ll ever stop obsessing! The formula is a lightweight gel that is easy to apply and a little bit goes a long way. (Only dab a pea size amount onto your fingertip. Using too much product could cause your skin to dry out and no one wants that!) The Anew Vitale Gel Cleanser smells amazing — such a fresh and clean scent that wakes me up in the morning yet calms and soothes me as I use it at nighttime. The Anew Vitale Skincare lineup works toward those seeking overall radiance and skin tone evenness. Next up on my Avon Beauty Faves Roundup List is the Clearskin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask. Oh my goodness… it really works! I use this product twice per week. What I love about this mineral mask is that not only does it work to remove pore-clogging oils in the skin but it doubles as an acne treatment. When applying, you’ll feel a cooling sensation and it goes on black. As it dries (and does its job!) it turns grey. So, there is no guess work — you can see and feel this product working. I also notice a tightness to my face as it dries but it brings no discomfort really. My skin is quite sensitive and I have yet to have an issue with this product irritating my skin. I usually leave this product on for around 12-15 minutes. My kids get a real big kick out of me when I have this mineral mask on, they find it hilarious! I just find it to be another tool to my beauty and skincare routine. The next product that has my heart is a Top Rated Avon Customer Favorite and it’s really no wonder why! The Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion is what I like to call Magic in a Bottle. This stuff is truly amazing. Squeeze out a dab onto your fingertip, gently rub it on and around your eyes, wipe away with a damp cloth, and voila — all clean! I love the consistency of this product, it is not too thin nor too thick. It really does moisturize my skin with no eye irritation. When I first used this product, I used more at one time than I needed to and it was a “gloppy mess”. The product had really gotten into my eye but easily rinsed out with water. I can laugh about it now, that’s for sure! Avon’s Number 1 Selling Makeup Remover is usually priced at $4 a bottle. My last favorite Avon product that i’ll be featuring in today’s blog post, is the Clearskin Blemish Clearing Overnight Treatment. This product came out around August of last year and i’ve been using it since its debut! You can use this product as a spot treatment, but I just use it all-over as a mask. The product is great because it works fast, does not burn or sting, goes on smoothly, and has a pleasant menthol/cooling scent. A small amount goes far so that’s another plus. I do notice that after applying this product my face appears to be greasy/oily. This does not seem to be an issue though as I apply right before bed. When I wake up in the morning, I simply wash my face with my Anew Vitale Gel Cleaner and i’m good to go! The Clearskin Overnight Blemish Clearing Overnight Treatment is regularly priced at $6.49. My Review on the Newest Clearskin Product

TGIF, beauties!! I'll be blogging today on an upcoming product that will be making its arrival in Campaign 18, starting on August 7th 2015 at youravon.com/ssandis It is the Clearskin Blemish Clearing Overnight Treatment and the intro price will be only $4.99 (Reg. price will be $6.49) 

Help treat and prevent blemishes while you sleep. In two weeks, helps fade the look of acne marks and acne redness. 2% salicylic acid (the maximum over-the-counter level). Use every night as a spot treatment or all over face to help prevent future breakouts. Won't dry out your skin. 1.7 fl. oz. 

I had the opportunity to purchase one before its Campaign 18 launch date! (Another perk of being an AVON Representative) I have been using it for 3 nights and I already can say that I love this product. Each night, after using my Anew Vitale Gel Cleanser (my personal favorite face cleanser), I gently squeeze a small dab of the product onto my index fingertip.

I choose to apply it all over as a mask, so I smooth a thin layer all over my face. There is a very light scent to it - almost a menthol, "cooling" scent. It is NOT overpowering. 

Now, after I apply this overnight treatment I can see why it is for overnight use. My face gets a bit shiny and greasy looking. (Key word is looking folks, DOES NOT feel greasy). This doesn't seem to be an issue as I wear it overnight and all i'm doing is sleeping. When I wake up in the morning the shine is no more. I cleanse again with my Anew Vitale Gel Cleanser and do a quick swipe with my Clearskin Blemish Clearing Acne Pads (Current Special Offer 2 for $7 - Reg. $4.49) and go about my day.

Why I love this product: 

• I don't have to think much about it. Its an easy, quick application and then i'm off to bed. 
• It has a smooth, creamy, texture that feels refreshing on my face.
• It works! I know it says after 2 weeks, but like I said - i've used it for 3 nights and I can already tell a difference.
• It is inexpensive. There are so many great skincare products out there, with a vast majority leaving me blasted with sticker shock. I just cannot see spending a great deal of money on something that can give me amazing results for a fraction of the price! 
• It doesn't burn or sting at my skin when I apply it, unlike some other acne spot treatments I have used in the past. 
• A little bit goes a long way! You only have to apply a very thin layer to cover an entire face.
