Eye Dimensions Eyeshadow Product Review

Hey, beauts! I've got another beauty product from AVON to review on the blog and today for the first time ever, it's an eyeshadow palette!! I have to say that the True Color Eyeshadow Quads have been my go-to for some time now but I wanted to try out the Eye Dimensions and the Sultry Smoke shade palette was calling my name!

My first impression of this product was how glittery it was. That surprised me but it was a nice change from my usual matte makeups. The lightest two shades seem to contain the most shimmer, whereas the darkest shade has some sparkle but for the most part i'd say its matte. The texture of this product is just how it is described on my eStore; velvety, smooth, and silky. Even though this product is quite shimmery, I have not had any issue with eye irritation. I've steered clear of products like this, usually, because it bothers my eyes. Pleased to say again, that this one does not! I noticed that I am able to wear this eyeshadow for hours before it starts to crease or fade away. I think its the ultimate beauty product for a night out! It's fun, sexy, and sure to make you feel fabulous about yourself! 

You may notice (like I did!) in the brochures and online, the swatch of this palette looks like there is some silver/grey. That is really not the case. I was surprised that the middle color is more of a neutral/brown/hint of gold even. It's very pretty - but worth mentioning, in case you are looking for some silver with your black and white shadows. If you are, be sure to check out the True Color Eyeshadow Quad in shade: Urban Skyline.

I love how effortless the application is. I use the Pro Makeup Brushes that I got from AVON and it just makes all the difference! I use the sponge applicator that comes with to aid me in removing my nail enamel -- works great at getting rid of the polish that gets stuck in the corners!

My @Avoninsider Nail Enamel Products Review

Hey there, beauts! Today on the blog i'm going to review some of the products for nails that are available on my AVON eStore at youravon.com/ssandis Get ready to give 'em some nail envy!

I had been looking for a minty nail enamel shade and came across the Speed Dry+ Nail Enamel line, shade Turquoise Pop. The color swatch on the website makes it look more like a robins egg blue, however, when on it is more of a green(mint). This product, as of this post, has a 3.6 out of 5 star review with 113 online customer reviews. Product Description: Dries in less than 30 seconds! Makes nails feel rock hard! What I love about the Speed Dry+ Nail Enamel: 
- It really does dry completely and smoothly in seconds! I did not time it, to be honest, but the 30 seconds that it advertises has got to be true considering I noticed it drying as I was still applying. You can really see it working. This product is great for me as I love to have my nails pretty and colorful but cannot stand the drying wait time that comes with it. I applied 2 coats (could have gotten away with just one!) and again, no bubbles or anything like that. Just a smooth finish. The product seems to be lasting well... I do tons of housework and there are a few chips after a few days but I expected as much. Still, they look fabulous and i'm getting compliments from family and friends! 

The AVON Dazzlers Top Coat has been out for awhile but I had yet to try it. When I purchased the Turquoise Pop shade, I decided to purchase the Dazzlers in Disco Ball. What I love about the Dazzlers Top Coat:
- Leaves a smooth finish despite what some may feel may be a rough coating due to the glitter flakes. I had a blast playing with this product and creating a look that was a mix of the nail design tip from the above mentioned product description. It is easy to apply, doesn't seem to clump around or bunch up in one spot. Other than the colored sparkles, the product is a clear top coat. I like this because it adds that extra protection against chipping yet does not change anything about the look(color) that I had wanted. 

A few months back I had discovered the Nail Experts Gel Strength Base Coat and fell in love! As of this post, this product has a 4.6 out of 5 star review with 40 online customer reviews. Product Description: Protein and keratin-infused formula creates a hard, shiny finish. Provides a sheer, natural and healthy look to nails. What I love about the Nail Experts Gel Strength Base Coat:
This product goes on clear (just appears to be pink in the bottle) and really works at keeping my nails strong. I have also noticed that it seems to be helping with making my nails grow faster than usual, so that's another plus.

Ultra Color Lipstick Swatches + Product Review

Hey, beauts. Hope you all have had a great weekend! I love playing with makeup and so another lipstick swatch post is born. The Ultra Color lipstick line contains the most shades, over 60 (and 3 finishes) to choose from! 

In this blog post, I will be swatching 15 lipstick shades from the UC line. The Ultra Color Lipstick is regularly priced at $8 a tube but is currently on sale for $5.99 a tube. As of this post, the Ultra Color Lipstick has a 4.3 out of 5 star review with 172 online customer reviews. 89% of respondents would recommend this to a friend.

Why Ultra Color Lipstick is a Top Rated Product:

- Multiple finishes give for multiple looks. I love a great satin lip, but also enjoy changing it up and donning a matte and/or some shimmer. With this lipstick line, i'm able to get all of that in bright or subtle shades. 

- The clear view window on the top of the tube cap allows me to see the color right away and grab it with ease from my makeup bag.
