My Avon Beauty Faves List | Post Two

Yesterday I started a brand new series on the blog, My Avon Beauty Faves Roundup! I’m excited to continue with the line of postings with today’s features. My next Avon Beauty Favorite that i’m featuring in this entry, is the Foot Works Beautiful Overnight Lavender Cream. This stuff smells amazing — so calming, and serene. The texture is non-sticky and it simply moisturizes my feet while relaxing me in the evening when I apply it. Lavender is typically known for its calming effects so it is no wonder why this product puts me at such ease. When I apply this Foot Works Beautiful Overnight Lavender Cream, I put socks on for a bit to fully seep in. I do not think that is a requirement but it is something that I do, so i’m mentioning it. My Avon Beauty Faves List | Post One

Hey, loves! I’ve decided to take on a new set of posts with each one featuring a few products from Avon that i’m currently obsessing over. What I love about this mineral mask is that not only does it work to remove pore-clogging oils in the skin but it doubles as an acne treatment. When applying, you’ll feel a cooling sensation and it goes on black. As it dries (and does its job!) it turns grey. So, there is no guess work — you can see and feel this product working. I also notice a tightness to my face as it dries but it brings no discomfort really. My skin is quite sensitive and I have yet to have an issue with this product irritating my skin. Why I Love This Product: 
This product smells so good, a bit reminiscent of baby powder. Unlike some hand creams out there that leave my hands feeling sticky and greasy, the Silicone Glove Hand Cream leaves my hands with a light, refreshing powdery feeling. I've noticed in the short time of using this product that I only have to apply once (maybe twice because I enjoy the smell!) daily. It really does last throughout all of the tasks I have to taken on in my day to day life.

Hair Products Review: 360 Nourish Moroccan Argan Oil

Hey there, beauts. I had a great morning at the kiddos soccer games and came home to relax a bit and get freshened up before my night out. Current status? Fresh and clean. For some reason more so than usual and so it inspired me to do some blogging. 

I've never been the type of girl to splurge on hair care products. I always got a bottle of the cheapest shampoo and conditioner and figured it was doing its job. Never did I think that there could actually be more beneficial products out there nor had I noticed how damaged my hair truly was.

I was quite intrigued as to finding out if these products would fix my severely dried-out hair and split ends. Could I find a more conditioning conditioner? 

AVON has a few different products to their hair care line up. I went through each one and learned what their purpose was (other than to clean hair, of course!) and which one I thought could benefit me the most. The first one that caught my eye was the 360 Nourish Moroccan Argan Oil line. I'll be honest, I judged the product before I even read a description on it. I was drawn to it for the name and had a feeling that it would bring much health to my hair. When I began to read up on the products, I was so excited to give it a whirl.

The scent of these products I like to describe it as "professional". Its the scent I smell when I go into a hair salon and it's quite pleasant. It makes me feel like i'm getting pampered. (Which, I totally am!) Honest to blog (hehe), after the first use of the Shampoo and Conditioner, I noticed a HUGE difference in my hair! My hair was softer, the frizz was downsized noticeably, and there was a nice shine. The Conditioner is incredibly creamy and soothing to the scalp. I massage it in and I know its such a treat to my locks. 

These products were an instant hit with me and now it's all I want to use. My husband uses the products as well. One time when at the hair salon to get his haircut he received a compliment from his hair stylist. She said: "Your hair is so soft! What shampoo are you using?" He told her the name and that it was from AVON and she was surprised. "Oh, wow! I would have thought it was some really expensive brand!" Well, there ya go! These products will give you professional looking and feeling results without the heavy price tag.

I just recently purchased a bottle for my husband since he wanted to try something to condition the manly beard he is working on growing. Household Beauty (Tips & Tricks)

TGIF, beauties!! On the blog today are household items that double as beauty helpers. I did some research online and found some of the ones that I might not actually mind trying. I learned a lot about these do-it-yourself beauty tips - and I hope you'll enjoy today's entry! 

- Ice Cube Trays | Use an ice cube tray to custom blend your own lip colors or foundation using two or more shades. Simply rinse and pop it in the dishwasher afterwards.

- Rubber Bands | Wrap rubber bands around the cap of nail polish bottles and other hard-to-open tops for better grip.

- Refrigerator | Use your fridge to store eye cream, toners, and astringent. The cooling effect de-puffs eyes and skin.

BLOG RE-BRAND: A Work In Progress

Good morning, beauties! I've been playing around with the idea on re-branding my beauty blog... with a new look, a new feel, and a new name. As you can see from my updated header, I am currently working on doing just that. 

Confused about the eight minute makeup name and why I would choose that? Well, it's not that complicated in reality. It takes me eight minutes to do my makeup. Always. I don't normally have the time to spend on getting glam'd up - and I don't think I should have to! 

I am incredibly busy during my day to day. I have two kids - both in school and in sports/activities afterwards. I have to cook dinner, help with homework assignments and various science fair projects. There's cleaning and laundry that need done. Oh yes, and the pup needs to go out for a walk. I have my AVON business that I work at with immense passion so that I can achieve my goals and dreams. All the while, I want to look fabulous. I want to feel fabulous. Since I don't have a lot of time to achieve that, I have perfected my beauty routine to a mere eight minutes. 

I am moving in a new direction with my blogging. While you will still see AVON product reviews and sales/special offers, I will be adding more entries on trends today in beauty, fashion, etc. I will also be adding more lifestyle posts to give more of a variety to my readers. My blog will be a reflection of myself: interested in a little bit of everything.

So, bare with me as I make these new and exciting changes! As always, I appreciate your feedback and even welcome topic ideas on what you want to see from my blog! Thanks for coming along on this journey with me.
